Who can apply to sell on WEARBY?
Creators, performers, athletes, influencers, and public personalities with an established public audience and a verifiable legal identity.
What are the requirements to become a seller?
As a general guideline, we look for creators with at least 10,000 followers on a primary social platform. However, follower count isn't the only factor we consider. Every application is reviewed individually based on audience quality, authenticity, engagement, and overall fit with WEARBY.
How does verification work?
Prospective sellers must pass a manual verification protocol enforced by WEARBY DIGITAL SERVICES S.L., which includes official government-issued identity confirmation, social media channel evaluation, and submission of platform-conforming media.
Is there a fee to join?
There are no registration, monthly subscription, or upfront listing fees. WEARBY DIGITAL SERVICES S.L. charges a clean twelve percent (12%) digital marketplace intermediation commission on the final sales price, automatically deducted from the escrowed gross amount when the transaction successfully concludes. Sellers acknowledge that per transaction, they are responsible for the payment processing fees charged directly by Stripe Connect.
How do I receive payment?
Payments are processed securely through integrated Stripe Connect channels and transferred directly into your linked bank account. Sellers are required to establish, complete onboarding for, and maintain an active Stripe Connect account during onboarding.
When do I receive my payout?
Payout capital is automatically un-escrowed and transferred to your connected bank account exactly 48 hours after the shipping carrier marks the parcel tracking status as "Delivered," provided no buyer dispute has been officially registered.
What kind of items can I sell?
You can list authentic, pre-owned personal items from your private wardrobe or collection (such as clothing, footwear, and accessories) that you have personally owned and utilized.
Are all listings reviewed?
Yes. WEARBY maintains strict editorial and security control. Every listing is manually reviewed within 24 hours before becoming publicly visible to ensure quality, authenticity, and alignment with platform aesthetics.
What should each listing include?
Each listing must feature an accurate textual description, sizing info, and exactly two (2) mandatory real photographs: 1) a high-resolution close-up of the item's current condition, and 2) an explicit verification photo showing you holding or visibly wearing the item. Stock photos or third-party renders are strictly prohibited.
Can I list multiple items?
Yes, provided that every single listing represents a genuine, authentic personal asset that you have personally owned.
Who handles shipping?
Sellers are legally required to pack, drop off, and dispatch the item using the automated shipping label generated by the platform. Shipping fees are paid directly by the buyer at checkout.
How long do I have to ship an item?
Sellers must dispatch the package within a mandatory window of five (5) calendar days from the purchase confirmation date. Failure to ship within 5 days authorizes WEARBY DIGITAL SERVICES S.L. to cancel the transaction and issue a full refund to the buyer.
What if the carrier loses or damages an item I shipped correctly?
If you packaged the item properly per our guidelines and dispatched it on time, and the carrier is confirmed responsible for the loss or damage, you will not be penalized and your payout proceeds as normal once the claim is resolved. WEARBY handles the carrier claim directly.
Can I set my own price?
Yes. Sellers define and control their own pricing for every item listed.
Can I remove an item after listing it?
Yes, you may remove or de-list any item at any time, provided it has not already been purchased by a buyer.
How does monthly statement consolidation work for my commissions?
To facilitate personal record-keeping, WEARBY DIGITAL SERVICES S.L. issues a consolidated automated monthly commission summary statement at the conclusion of each calendar month, itemizing all 12% digital intermediation commissions retained by the platform.
Are my sales subject to tax reporting (DAC7 Directive)?
Yes. Under European Union Directive 2021/514 ("DAC7") and Spanish tax laws, WEARBY DIGITAL SERVICES S.L. is legally required to collect, verify, and report fiscal and transactional data to Spain's tax authorities (AEAT) for any Seller operating within the EU who completes thirty (30) or more transactions, or exceeds two thousand Euros (€2,000) in total gross sales within a single calendar year. Sellers are required to provide verifiable tax data (such as NIF/NIE and verified legal address) through the Stripe Connect gateway. Failure to comply will result in the freezing of payouts or account suspension.
